In early 2016 (When using the CB Radio was a hobby of mine), I was suffering from major RF noise of around 9 S-Units. From what I remember, someone on a CB radio forum suggested I try to run the CB radio from batteries to rule-out noise from a power supply interfering.

This video is showing that running the CB radio on batteries is doing nothing to reduce interference and thus asking for more advice in this video. The comment about the noise being from external sources was ultimately correct, as the noise eventually went away on its own.
