2024: Week 14
Posted in: The Blog
Monday started with some shopping in the local Poundstretcher, Iceland and OneStop. From Poundstretcher, I got four packs of Frispy Cripsy Sticks (Lovely texture and taste). From Iceland I got a pack of Pork Sausages and two packs (4 in each) of Creme Egg Cones. From OneStop, a Sausage, bacon and Egg “Triple” sandwich that cost just £0.75.
On Tuesday, a trip to the local library to return Blogging for Dummies (a book that had genuinely helpful tips at the beginning before devolving into being effectively a blog monetization book). Replacing it with Its Raining Cats and Dogs. A book that instructs autistic people about “Idioms, metaphors” and common expressions.
Wednesday. A group trip to Woburn Safari Park with another service user.
We went around the road safari before heading to McDonald’s for lunch (as I was too tired to go on the foot safari). When at Mcdonalds, I had a happy meal (cheeseburger) and a sweet chili wrap.
Thursday. A drive out with another service user. We drove around the local villagers, then got a few items from Lidl before enjoying a cup of tea and a packet of cheese and onion crisps. In the evening, I went to the Chip Shop for Cheesy Chips and Two battered burgers.
Friday, launch at Weatherspoon (Cod and Chips), help with researching history at 4pm and reviewing and rewriting care plans with a senior in the evening.
Saturday. Drive and researching history.
On Sunday, I went to the Autism Screening of Kung Fu Panda 4, whose adjustments were half-assed. Had help with bedroom cleaning in the evening.
