2024: Week 12
Posted in: The Blog
Interesting week. Monday started off with a trip to Little Paxton Visitor Centre. The journey there uneventful until we entered the footpath towards Paxton Pits. Were the tracks being very slippery as it has been raining, and the soils are heavy in clay.
Once we got to the visitor centre, I sat down and had a cup of tea with crisps and a KitKat.
Tuesday a quiet day. Just an hour’s drive and help with cleaning my bedroom.
Wednesday, however, a mostly incredible day. Had a trip with a couple of other service users to a sensory room in Biggleswade (Sensory Magic). Loved it, especially the interactive floor mat. So, enjoyable “popping” objects and playing the virtual drums.
After, we went to MacDonald’s, where I got a wrap (could not get the free Apple Pie as most mobile networks are massively overloaded in Biggleswade).
On Thursday, I went shopping and to the park and had help with cleaning the bedroom.
Meant to go swimming on Friday but did not feel well enough to. Instead, replacing that activity with researching history. In the afternoon went for a walk.
Saturday. A walk to the local charity shops, help with bedroom cleaning and researching history.
Sunday was just a walk and researching history.
