2024: Week 9

This week started off very similar to last week, with the kitchen still being remodeled. You had the normal local trips out throughout the week, which not much to mention about (swimming is still too busy locally).

The only two things of interest that didn’t involve longer journeys was the kitchen being still out-of-action and the many attempts to get in contact with my social worker over a mistake she made on a care assessment (opposite to what one of my expect but not going into detail in public for obvious reasons).

The Sheringham trip being the positive highlight of the week. Good shops to go around, good chip shops (though that is normal for North Norfolk) and just a pleasant place with extremely polite people.

I also had a trip out in the car with another service user on Saturday (meant to be a drive around the area before getting a McDonald’s but turned into driving to McDonald’s for the meal (I had a Caesar chicken wrap and Strawberry milkshake) and heading back home after finishing eating as the house car broke down and had to borrow another services’ one and they wanted it back within an hour.

On Sunday, I (and another service user) had a trip to Centre:MK, I and a staff member visited the Apple Store to drop off a laptop for repair before I picked up more blue shirts from Primark. The whole thing being stressful with the massive crowds that decided to all shop on Sunday…
